We're out to start a love affair between you and "stone cooking."

"Stone" cooking is entirely, enticingly new. Whether you crave St. Maarten's freshest fish, the most tender, mouth-watering beef filet, or one of our vegetarian selections, you'll find "stone" cooking imparts a uniquely enjoyable natural flavoring to your meal.

Pair dinner with a selection from our growing wine list or our fully stocked bar, and top it off with some of the most decadent, indulgent desserts you'll find anywhere.

You'll find "Stone Cooking" only here at The Stone Restaurant in Simpson Bay, Billy Folly Road #37 on the Marina Plaza at Simpson Bay Resort and Villas, formerly Pelican Resort / Pelican Marina Residences.

Park conveniently across the street at Hollywood Casino, or in the Pelican Marina Building lot; just tell the attendant you're going to The Stone Restaurant. Dinner is served 5:30-11pm, every day.

What's Stone Cooking?
First, we select only the very best fresh seafoods right from the docks, or air-shipped overnight from the world's top seafood ports. We hand-pick the most tender beef filets and poultry and the freshest fruits and vegetables as accompaniments.

Then we heat flat volcanic stones in our kitchen.

Moments later, your perfectly spiced cuisine of the day is cooking on the stone, at your table, in front of your eyes, without any need for any cooking oils or anything else to get in the way of purely delicious natural flavor.

You dine when you want. Choose a briefly-seared main course. Or enjoy the fragrance of your food as it self-cooks to well-done. Or enjoy any level of doneness in between.

Though man first tried "stone cooking" thousands of years ago, today it's pure culinary fascination that yields incredibly sensuous flavors and aromas you'll long remember.
